HARRIS CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT
DIRECTOR AT-LARGE PLACE 3
RUN -OFF ELECTION
Election Day:
Saturday, June 15th
Vote early: June 3-11
TRANSPARENCY. FAIR APPEALS PROCESS. INNOVATION: Building a Future Together
In the runoff election, Harris County voters will elect two of three new members to the Harris Central Appraisal District (HCAD) Board of Directors, created in last legislative session and approved by statewide voters as Proposition 4. These positions will be sworn in on July 1, 2024.
As a candidate for the HCAD Board of Directors, I am deeply committed to addressing the pressing concerns that have left our residents feeling unheard. It is evident that there are critical issues within our community, particularly the dissatisfaction with the appeal process, frequent and unpredictable increases in appraisal and tax costs, and a lack of transparency in decision-making.
My candidacy is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve and maintain affordable homeownership. I am running to ensure that both property owners and renters have representation and a voice in Harris County Appraisal process. We also need is balance transparency and fair appeals for homeowners, with the need to invest in Harris County for schools and vital services. Together, let us work towards a brighter future for all who call Harris County home.
